Character profile
Background
Yutaro Kurose is the second half of the Kyoto pair that arrives during the Katana Man arc. Where Tendo is calm and warm, Kurose is flat, blunt, and a little hostile. He is a Snake Devil contractor, which means a small snake coils around his neck and strikes for him when he asks it to. Him and Tendo spend the final stretch of Season 1 coaching Aki on what a real Public Safety hunter looks like, which is the same thing as teaching him he is going to die young.
