Character profile
Background
The Fox Devil is the devil most publicly used by Public Safety. It manifests as the head of a nine tailed fox big enough to fit a car in its mouth, summoned from a car side mirror or any other reflective surface at the cost of a small sacrifice of the contractor's flesh. Aki uses it constantly in the first half of the season. During the Katana Man ambush the Fox Devil refuses to come when called, for reasons the show hints at but does not explain, and Aki's face when he realizes he is on his own is one of the quietest horror beats in Season 1.
