Character profile
Background
Hirokazu is the other rookie who shows up alongside Kobeni at the start of the Bat Devil arc. He is quiet, nervous, religious, keeps his hands clasped in prayer most of the time, and is one of the first casualties of the Katana Man ambush. He dies in episode 8 protecting Kobeni, which is the only heroic thing the show lets him do and also the thing that confirms he deserved to be there.
